What do you spontaneously do when a huge fireball appears as you gazing the night sky? You look at it of course!
Well, if you do the unthinkable and look at the opposite side you will see a landscape lit up in a surreal green colour. At 17 March 2016 – 03:16, a huge fireball moving south to north burst over Britain and even made headlines
The green colour we see reflected on the landscape was caused by the meteor heating up the oxygen in the earth's atmosphere.
The image is a composite of a multi-hour startrail and the meteor glow photo. The shooting took place at Dorset, Durdle Door - East Beach.
