Airplane transit in front of the Sun. The shot was taken from my home at Chalandri, Athens. For these shots I use a refractor telescope coupled with a Barlow lens which doubles the magnification of the telescope. Also a special solar filter is required that blocks the 99.9% of the Sun's luminance. It wasn't a programmed shot. I intended to capture the sunspots when suddenly the airplane appeared in front of the solar disk . The transit lasted for one second allowing me to take two shots.
